Mitochondria is illustrates the building blocks of life and the powerhouses of cells. The design’s source of inspiration includes the beautiful forms of cell division, chromosomes and DNA strands. The artwork is integrated into the grand staircase at Emery Station West, a cutting-edge medical research center.
