Description: Moorpark Orchard consists of eight sculptural “trees” that reimagine the concept of an orchard within an urban, transit-oriented environment. The installation celebrates the beauty, abundance, and agricultural legacy of Moorpark, a community once known as the Apricot Capital of the World. Elements of vintage railroad design—including train wheels and agricultural tools—are woven into the sculptures, creating a visual connection between the region’s farming heritage and its history of transportation and development.
