MacArthur Gateway Arches span a major thoroughfare in Oakland, establishing a monumental and inviting gateway to the Eastmont neighborhood, bookending this diverse and vibrant part of the City. The arches greet motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians as they travel into Eastmont from the north and south. MacArthur Gateway Arches is a landmark and a source of pride for the community and provides a shared sense of identity for this historic neighborhood.
