Located in the courtyard of a River Row Apartments, Skiff’s contour and ribs evoke boats and water travel. The sculpture pays homage to the Three Princes Surf Site, a designated California Historical Landmark. It is located at the mouth of the San Lorenzo River, which meanders out to the ocean and lies just beyond the courtyard and sculpture. Skiff was also exhibited in the Napa River Walk in downtown Napa and the Oakland sculpture walk, among other exhibitions.
